For its second season, the ESSEC Business School's "Business and Industry in Africa" Chair, under the leadership of its Executive Director, Benoît Chervalier, traveled to Kenya (Nairobi-Mombasa) from March 23 to 28, 2026, following a successful launch in Côte d’Ivoire last year. This session, also conducted with students from the Master in Management, "Business and Transition in Africa" track—24 students across both programs—concludes a semester in its ESSEC Africa campus in Rabat, Morocco, focused on specialization and exploring the challenges of industrialization and raw material processing.

On February 6, 2026, the second cohort had the opportunity to take part in a high-level visit to the London headquarters of Vivo Energy and VITOL, featuring presentations by the Chairman of the Board, the CEO of Vivo Energy, and members of the executive team.
In 2025, students from the Business and Industry in Africa Chair took part in an immersive study trip to Côte d’Ivoire. Following their arrival on the Rabat campus in January, the first cohort travelled to Abidjan for high-level meetings with business leaders, industrial site visits, partner case studies, and inspiring exchanges with entrepreneurs and decision-makers. This learning expedition offered valuable insights into the realities shaping business and industry across Africa. cgeci.com/une-delegation-de-la-chaire-de-lessec-business-school-recue-par-la-cgeci/
